Invisible City recognises the importance of caring for the environment. We are committed to do all that we can to reduce energy consumption and waste.
Responsible forest management is a key component of Invisible City’s vision for a future in which people live in harmony with the environment, whilst enjoying beautiful handmade furniture.
This is why, as a predominately wood making furniture business, Invisible City only uses FSC certified woods that have been carefully selected and sourced from sustainably managed forests through the PEFC Council (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes).
This is demonstrated not only through how, but where we make our furniture. Using local manufacturers in the southeast of England means we keep our carbon footprint to a minimum. Each piece of furniture is made to order, thereby minimising waste. We endeavour to recycle where possible.
Working with a local manufacturer also means we support local craftsmen within Britain and can maintain a strong friendly working relationship with all our joiners and carpenters.
