RIBA Journal select Incunabular Sideboard as one to watch for The London Design Festival 2012

Invisible City’s Creative Director Simon Moorhouse, who studied at the Architectural Association, left his practice after 20 years to persue his dream of designing furniture.  Simon Moorhouse, who designed the Incunabular Collection has been chosen by RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) Journal’s Jan Carlos Kucharek as one of the designers to watch during The London Design Festival, 2012. Invisible City’s Incunabular Collection can be seen at Tent & Super Brands London, 20-23 September, Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.

The London Design Festival has swung into action once more, covering large swathes of the city with design pop-ups, product launches, installations, exhibitions of custom live edge furniture of unique wood and more. With this year marking the tenth anniversary of the ten day festival, its looking bigger and mightier than ever. Team Wallpaper* has hit the ground running to bring you all the highlights as they happen.

We would like to thank ‘the guys’ at Tent London and everyone that came along to see our first collection for your office from Dumond’s Custom Furniture. The response has been overwhelming! As ‘new kids on the block’ the advice and praise we have received has been so helpful. Invisible City will be releasing new products in the New Year so please keep an eye on the website and look out for us in the press.

“I had to get out to get in!” Simon joked today.

The irony has not been lost on us 😉
